There is no specific field to search for Key ID which is weird, isn’t that the first thing that should be used as a search field?
We can use the keyword field but it doesn’t take partial search well. For issues with key ID TEST-1, TEST-2, etc. if i search for 1, it doesn’t show any result. but if i put the entire TEST-1 it will show in the search results. I would assume this Key ID field should be a basic search that is required in the Issue list.

For the Issue Search keyword field, there is a minimum character count of 2 (i.e. ‘10’ , ‘ab’, ‘-1’), hence searching for one character alone (‘1’) will not display any results.
Because of this reason, for TEST-1 or TEST-2, using the keyword ‘-1’ or ‘-2’ in the search should yield results.
