Custom Status for Issues

Backlog issues can now have custom statuses. :blush:

Note: this is only available on all paid cloud accounts.

As a default, there are four available issue statuses:

  • Open
  • In Progress
  • Resolved
  • Closed

With the new update, Administrators and Project Admins can add (and edit) custom statuses for team members to use in the project.

For example, issues can have custom statuses like:

  • Testing
  • In Review
  • Deployed/Released
  • Waiting Approval
  • A/B Testing
  • Drafting
  • In Design
  • Pending Payment
  • Etc, whatever your workflow requires.

 

Manage custom statuses under Project Settings > Status

Note:

  • The new custom status will be available for every task within the Project. 
  • You can create up to 8 custom statuses within a Project aside from the 4 default statuses. 
  • Status name supports up to 20 characters.
