Can a backlog project be cloned?

I would really appreciate if someone can tell me if a backlog project can be cloned. I would like to setup a similar project with a similar workflow without having to set it up from scratch. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we cannot clone or duplicate a Backlog project currently.

I understand that this feature will be very useful for setting up similar projects with similar workflows. Thank you for raising it.

May I offer a suggestion: one way to make setting up a new project easier in terms of adding project members:

  1. We can create teams of users in our organization settings, for e.g. development team, marketing team, etc. For reference, see View and create teams support article.

  2. Then when creating a new project, we can invite the team into the project. This saves time from adding members individually. For reference, see Utilising team function in Backlog.

Sorry, I know this doesn’t answer your question completely, but I hope it eases the process of setting up a new project.
