[SOLVED] How to update recently viewed Issues/Wikis with Backlog API?

As the post below stated, we can find recently viewed issues/wikis:

It’s also possible to get those issues/wikis by Backlog API:

  • https://developer.nulab.com/docs/backlog/api/2/get-list-of-recently-viewed-issues/
  • https://developer.nulab.com/docs/backlog/api/2/get-list-of-recently-viewed-wikis/

(sorry I’m a new user, so I can’t put several links here)

My question is… Are there APIs to make a Issue or Wiki “Viewed”?
I tried Get Issue API, but this did not change the recently views issue list.

Hope someone could help…
Thanks in advance.

Hi @wakamenod ,

Welcome to the community!

Thank you for your question:

Hmm, I don’t think there’s an API to make an issue/wiki viewed as it seems it needs to be viewed from the browser or app to be counted as “viewed”.

Let me ask our team about it and I’ll get back to you.

Hi, @soohian00,
Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, that’s what I thought too… I think it would be great if we can use a API something like View API This may be unreasonable , but I just want to express my request…

@wakamenod you’re welcome :slight_smile:

I understand. I’ve forwarded your request to our Backlog team for consideration. Thank you for your feedback!
